We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Boarding Staff for an immediate position. Urgent Boarding Staff Needed As a member of our boarding staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and comfort to pets staying at our facility. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about animals and possess a strong sense of responsibility to ensure the well-being of our furry guests.

Responsibilities:

Pet Care: Provide attentive and compassionate care to pets, including feeding, exercising, grooming, and administering medications as directed.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable setting for the animals. Urgent Boarding Staff Needed
Behavior Observation: Monitor pets for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior, promptly reporting any concerns to the supervisor or veterinary staff.
Exercise and Playtime: Engage pets in interactive play sessions, exercise routines, and socialization activities to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each pet’s activities, feeding schedules, medications, and any other pertinent information, ensuring efficient communication and continuity of care. Urgent Boarding Staff Needed
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing inquiries, providing updates on their pets, and ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Emergency Response: Follow established protocols in case of emergencies, such as administering first aid, contacting veterinarians, or providing necessary assistance during evacuation procedures.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and sanitation procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and protocols.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other boarding staff members, veterinarians, and support staff to ensure seamless operations and the highest standard of care for the animals. Urgent Boarding Staff Needed
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices in pet care, attend training sessions, and seek opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in animal behavior and welfare.

Qualifications:

Passion for working with animals and a genuine love for pets.
Previous experience in a similar role, such as a boarding facility, animal shelter, or veterinary clinic, is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and restraining animals when necessary.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with pet owners and team members in a friendly and professional manner.

Basic knowledge of animal behavior, health, and welfare.
